Package Engineer

• Act as equipment package engineer in plant or equipment delivery projects
• Manage, plan and coordinate the equipment package engineering, technical purchasing and manufacturing according to main project plan so that financial, time schedule and quality objectives, and also customer satisfaction, are achieved
• Write needed technical specifications for equipment
• Operate as interface between equipment manufacturer and project team
• Plan and arrange expediting and inspections, and arrange information for forwarding
• Arrange supplier document reviews and acceptances
• Report monthly of equipment packages status to stakeholders (e.g. project manager/director)
• Support site work and, when needed, participate supervision and commissioning
• Apply effectively Metso’s Business processes and tools

To succeed, you will need:

• Bachelor (B.Sc.) or Master (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical engineering, Metallurgy or similar
• Experience in project work in customer delivery projects
• Experience in engineering is a benefit
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate assertively
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Good knowledge of common MS Office software, knowledge of SAP ERP and Enovia are a benefit
• Good communication skills in English, Finnish language is a benefit
• Strong team working skills
• Proactive mindset
