- Support local procurement activities by ensuring that relevant parts of Project Procurement Plan is carried out according to project needs.
- Ensuring the proper use of Metso favorable commercial terms & conditions in project purchase negotiations and contracting with local suppliers
- Deploying common global processes and procedures, and adapt to local requirements (e.g. by local law, etc.)
- Managing the bidding process and into the bid evaluation process with local suppliers
- Preparing and filing the project specific purchasing documentation
- Complying to Sourcing and Compliance rules in Supplier selections
- Managing the supplier invoices and the guarantee issues for local suppliers
- Participating into the claim process in case of local suppliers
- Being local contact point for suppliers delivering to customer project
- Coordinate activities with customer procurement team and prepare comparisons for supplier selections for final selection with Sourcing.

- A good level of computer skills – MS-Office applications.
- Secure command of English, addition to local language
- Related commercial or technical background.
