Description:
International Business Development Manager is responsible for the speed of business scaling and revenue, applying service model, and ensuring company’s market presence (Middle East, CIS, Asia). Taking this responsibility, the IBDM will be responsible for creation of a partner network and its management, establishing legal entities in the territories, budgeting, implementation of investment projects, launching pilot projects of opening K12 schools, conducting market researches and promoting the image of ONE! products.

To successfully solve the assigned tasks, it is necessary to have the skills of systemic thinking, ambition, persistence, the ability to form and manage teams, the ability to achieve results, persuasion skills and stress resistance. Efficient business communication skills and excellent English and Russian are necessary.
Successful candidate should have:
- The proven experience in creation of a B2B partner network (service model, franchise).
- Expertise in market of private education will be an advantage.
- Experience of launching new businesses abroad or opening company’s branches.
- Knowledge of culture, international law and ethics (Middle East, CIS, Asia).
- Risk management competence. Skills to access new markets, market expansion planning and experience in establishing the feasible international activities.
- Skills in B2C business including education services will be appreciated.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new opportunities - including new markets (countries), growth areas, trends, partnerships, educational products and services of high value for the location - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Search for and analyze potential franchisees and enter into cooperation agreements with them.
- Seek out the appropriate property for K12 pilot projects in cooperation with partners and / or real estate agents.
- Meet with customers/clients face-to-face or online to identify their needs in order to fit the educational product up to the market needs.
- Foster and develop relationships with partners, sponsors so that you can generate new opportunities.
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the speed of scaling and reach new audiences.
- Participate in drawing up client contracts, negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases, increase revenues of franchisees and pilot K12 schools.
- Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present business plans of new projects to the Board.
- Lead launching of new international school or KG (relocation for some period).
- Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department for each country in scope, help to plan sales campaigns, create a sales pipeline.
- Cooperate with the Finance, HR, Legal, Product and IT teams.
- Attend seminars, conferences and events to build ONE!'s business's network.
- Monitor trends in education globally.
Working hours:
You'll usually work a regular 10 am to 6pm, Monday to Friday week, though you may on occasion have to work longer to meet a project deadline or when attending an event or conference. Your working place will be located in Head Office (Dinamo metro Station, Moscow) with up to 60% of international business trips
Flexible and hybrid working may be possible.
Challenges:
- You'll work in an office environment and travel most of the time for face-to-face meetings with franchisee partners and customers and other business partners or to attend conferences and exhibitions.
- It can be challenging trying to create new opportunities, in addition to the constant pressure of meeting or exceeding targets. However, development of new projects is quite a creative role and can be very satisfying.
- Depending on the type of country, traveling may be required during working days and / or week-ends.
Salary:
Salaries can vary significantly and depend on candidates levels and experience, based on a range of factors such as the industry you work in, its size and location, and your skills on international market, experience and level of responsibility, soft skills that you may have now.
To reach the higher end of the pay scale, you will need an excellent track record of quick scaling by franchise model in international markets of MENA and Asian regions and gaining and retaining new business and partnerships.
