Head of Documentation

We are Tibbo Systems - an accredited IT software product company leading in software solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT), IT infrastructure management, industrial and building automation, remote monitoring and service, physical access control, and data center management.

We are looking for the Head of Documentation to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our AggreGate platform and related products in English and Russian, ensuring all features and updates are accurately documented;

• Create and proofread information that is contained in the platform itself, such as help texts, warning messages, labels, etc;

• Develop engaging and informative tutorials to guide users through key functionality and features;

• Use the platform to understand its features from the user’s point of view;

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and technical details;

• Maintain multiple versions of the documentation to align with product versions;

• Actively participate in the documentation review process, incorporating feedback to improve content quality;

• Ensure documentation is written for a global audience and is ready for localization;

• Contribute to the development and upkeep of documentation style guides, templates, processes, and workflows;

• Ensure the documentation is published correctly from the content management system to all online and offline versions in HTML;

• Participate in designing and implementing elements of corporate strategy related to product documentation and knowledge management.

Requirements:

• Excellent written English, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently;

• Ability to understand technical concepts as they pertain to the platform and convey them concisely to a wide audience. The platform touches many different kinds of technologies, including networking and management of IoT devices, databases, server management and configuration, and more;

• A background or interest in software development, demonstrating an understanding of programming concepts such as functions, variables, classes and algorithms;

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle from conception to release;

• Experience with localization workflows, including understanding content localization and working with translation teams;

• Work is mostly managed within the Atlassian ecosystem, so a familiarity with Jira and Confluence may be an advantage.
