Staffpick is looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer for one of our clients.

Asian based FinTech payments services group with a mission to make financial transactions in a smart, secure and cost-effective way, anywhere in the world.

We operate a regional payment network to enable cross-border QR payment services for e-wallet operators, banks, and merchants. We also provide white-label solutions to accelerate the development and adoption of mobile payments for our business partners.

Head of Backend/DBA

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Backend/DBA to join our backend development and database administration teams. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless development, performance, and scalability of our backend systems, databases, and related technologies, which are at the core of our payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development Leadership: Lead the backend development team to build scalable, reliable, and efficient systems that power our payment platforms.

• Database Management: Oversee the administration and optimization of databases, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

• Architecture & Scalability: Design and implement backend architecture that can scale with growing demands and user activity, ensuring smooth operations across all payment systems.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, technical, and operations teams to ensure backend systems align with the overall business strategy and operational requirements.

• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and implement the latest technologies and tools to optimize backend development and database management processes.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure backend systems and databases comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, especially in the context of fintech and payments.

• Mentor new backend developers and database administrators, ensuring professional development and high team performance.

• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of backend issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to services.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in backend development and database management

• Strong expertise in backend technologies (.NET) and database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle).

• Experience with cloud services and microservices architecture.

• In-depth knowledge of database design, performance optimization, and security practices.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on performance and career development.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
