The Role:

As a Software Developer Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in driving our connection with external E-Mobility Providers (EMPs). You’ll collaborate closely with product development teams, internal stakeholders, near-shore colleagues, and external partners. Reporting to one of our Engineering Managers, you’ll ensure we deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Guide the team in building scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software.
• Code Quality & Standards: Ensure best practices in coding standards and review processes.
• Security & Compliance: Guarantee compliance with industry standards and security policies.
• Architecture & Solution Design: Lead solution architecture and performance optimization.
• Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Together with your team, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing key software components.
• Driving cross-team collaboration to deliver integrated solutions.
• Leading the adoption of automated testing and ensuring high-quality releases.
• Establishing and promoting best practice coding standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in developing microservices and cloud-based solutions.
• Expertise in TypeScript or JavaScript (Node.js, Nest.js) and cloud environments like AWS.
• Familiarity with test-driven development, test automation, and deployment in cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with ElasticSearch, queues, non-SQL datastores, and high-scale applications.
• Advantageous: Experience with OCPI, Hubject, or Gireve.
• Excellent communication skills in English
