Senior PHP Software Engineer [FinTech]

A leading international provider of technology and liquidity solutions for the financial and cryptocurrency markets, is seeking a dedicated and talented Senior PHP Software Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain features and architect solutions;
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle;
• Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices;
• Create and maintain documentation for code, processes, and applications;
• Stay up-to-date with emerging tech and industry trends to continuously improve your skills and contribute fresh ideas;
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a PHP Developer, using modern PHP;
• Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony;
• Experience with any relative database, with Docker and docker-compose;
• Experience with any message broker such as NATS, Kafka, etc;
• Deep knowledge of testing principles and practices: unit, integration, functional tests, mocking, etc;
• Bonus: experience in Golang, in Kubernetes and Helm, in software and/or system architecture, with NoSQL, with applications observability and with static analysis tools such as PHPStan or Psalm.
