Now we are starting to search for an HR Director to join our management team. The ultimate goal for this position is to balance company's long-term strategy execution with maintaining healthy and highly-performing A-grade team.
Our perfect candidate is a competent and mature professional, proactively shaping HR initiatives that directly contribute to business growth and efficiency; someone with the ability to ensure that the right people, structures, and incentives are in place to enable the company to execute its strategy at the highest level and to transform the current HR function from a recruitment-first function to a long-term value creator, supporting the Municorn strategy.
Required competencies and skills:
- Formulate and execute a business-centric HR strategy
- Understand the company’s business model and align HR processes with revenue growth, profitability, and efficiency.
- Proactively identify workforce gaps and inefficiencies, offering solutions before they impact performance.
- Use analytics and performance metrics to drive HR strategies and evaluate effectiveness.
- Understand how HR decisions impact P&L, EBITDA, and overall company performance.
- Communicate HR issues in the language of business using a clear, data-driven, and logical approach.
- Establish and manage a high-caliber talent acquisition process
- Build a proactive recruitment process that attracts high-performing and culture-fit candidates.
- Establish and manage corporate compensation and performance management policies
- Design and implement incentive structures that maximize productivity and retention.
- Ensure transparent benchmarking of salaries and benefits across jurisdictions.
- Advice on employment law and compliance (Cyprus, EU, USA, Russia, and remote global hiring)
- Good practical understanding of different employment models (permanent contracts, freelance, contractors, equity based employment) and their legal/financial/tax implications.
- Ensure HR processes mitigate legal risks, including terminations, performance reviews, and contract structuring.
- Provide an A-grade leadership and team management competencies
- Build and lead an efficient, high-output HR team, eliminating bureaucracy and inefficiencies.
- Manage change effectively, ensuring smooth transformation as the company grows.
- Develop scalable policies that eliminate manual processes and unnecessary HR processes overhead.
- Implement HR tech solutions to streamline recruitment, onboarding, and performance tracking.
The ideal candidate:
- Has deep practical experience in all of the key competencies listed above. The ability to present own experience clearly and arguably will be at the heart of the selection process for this role.
- As a good proxy, but not a requirement: has more than 5 years as an HRD in IT companies with 100+ headcount, 10+ years in total in HR. Managing teams of 4 employees.
- Proficient in Russian and English.
