Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced Salesforce Architect to work on a large-scale project for one of our customers from the UK.
The customer is a fast-growing UK-based technology company delivering Salesforce solutions for nonprofits and education providers. The project is a nationally significant CRM and data transformation program for one of the UK’s most respected charities. A mission-driven team works in close partnership with Salesforce, driving real change in how the charity builds relationships with its supporters and beneficiaries.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the end-to-end architecture design across all clouds, integrations and data models, ensuring alignment to program goals and Salesforce best practice.
- Supporting the customer’s delivery teams through technical decision-making, solution reviews, and assurance across sprint cycles.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to guide decisions around data governance, integration strategy, user authentication and platform scalability.
- Representing technical direction in program governance forums and supporting phased planning for the Crawl, Walk, Run, Fly roadmap.
- Supporting consultants and developers with escalation and mentoring on platform architecture, development standards, and platform capabilities.
- Driving innovation and optimization in the use of Salesforce products, particularly around segmentation, personalization and supporter data activation.
- Ensuring all designs consider security, accessibility, scalability, and sustainability, with full documentation and traceability.
- Leading technical discovery sessions post-Raiser’s Edge transition to shape future delivery across Run and Fly phases.
Must-haves:
- Experience in Salesforce architecture or technical leadership roles, with delivery experience across Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud for 5+ years.
- Experience with Interaction Studio (Marketing Cloud Personalization).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce multi-cloud architecture, data modelling.
- Experience working with large, multi-stakeholder Salesforce programs, ideally in the charity or public sector.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present technical solutions clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivering sustainable, high-impact solutions.
- Experience working in Agile project environments and contributing to product roadmaps.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications such as: Application Architect, System Architect, Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, Data Architect, Marketing Cloud Developer, and Integration Architecture Designer.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
