Andersen, an international IT company, invites a Junior QA Automation Engineer (Java) to work on a project in the field of FinTech for one of our German customers.

The customer is a world leader in insurance and B2B2C support, which offers global solutions that span international health and life insurance, travel insurance, cars, and their service. The company is dedicated to delivering world-class, agile, and sustainable IT solutions, driving full-spectrum digitalization.

The project is focused on the development of API products to be consumed by both internal and external business units.

Responsibilities:

  • Checking the status of tests daily depending on the runtime environment (QA Stage every day, UAT (PreProd) every two weeks).
  • Writing test cases for each task (discussed with the team).
  • Writing autotests for all scenarios (discussed with the team beforehand).
  • Manually testing tasks and tests before writing them.
  • Updating autotests.
  • Keeping track of the task backlog.

Must-haves:

  • Experience as QA Automation Engineer for 3+ months.
  • Experience with Java 17 and 21.
  • Proficient in Selenium.
  • Experience in Playwright.
  • Experience using Rest Assured for API testing.
  • Experience connecting to and working with databases via JDBC.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins for automating build and deployment processes.
  • Experience with Postman and SOAP UI.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
