The IT company Andersen invites a Lead Go Developer to work on a project for one of our customers based in Switzerland.
The customer is an innovative organization dedicated to addressing gaps in the gaming industry. Recognizing the limitations of traditional gaming platforms, it focuses on creating decentralized solutions that facilitate skill-based challenges and secure financial payouts. By leveraging blockchain technology, the customer aims to provide a compliant and seamless experience for gamers, while also opening new revenue streams for game studios.
The project aims to revolutionize the gaming industry by developing a comprehensive, decentralized platform. This platform will enable gamers to participate in skill-based challenges and receive financial payouts in a secure and compliant manner.
Tech stack on the project: Go, Open API, RESTful APIs, Mockery, AWS: EKS, RDS Postgres, SQS/SNS, S3, Distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry), GRPC, SQL Builder, Integration with 3rd Party Solutions (KYC, Payment Provider, Blockchain, API Gateway KrakenD, Keycloak), GitHub, Trunk Base Development, SonarCloud, Event-Driven Architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Investigating new 3rd party services and provide C4 Container level solution for feature implementation.
- Estimating a breakdown US into Technical Tasks with description ready to be hand-overed to the S and M-level developers.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to development team, ensuring adherence to best coding practices and design principles.
- Overseeing and conducting thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure compliance with coding standards. Work with Sonar Cloud.
- Working closely with the team, including product managers, DevOps, and QA, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a Go Developer for 5+ years.
- Practical experience with AWS services including, SQS, SNS, RDS and S3.
- Experience with event-driven design.
- Experience in tech leadership.
- Experience working in Agile Teams (Scrum)
- Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
- Experience in writing Common Libraries
- Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in database design and management. Replication.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Testify.
- Level of English – Upper-Interemediate and above.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with Blockchain (Crypto-Fiat, Payment Providers).
- Experience with 3rd Party Solution (KYC).
- Experience with 3rd Party Solutions API Gateway KrakenD and Keycloak.
- Open API Schema language.
- Competitave Gaming as a hobby (PUBG, CS, Dota).
