Security manager

Role Summary:

Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of METRO Kazakhstan’s employees, assets, and operations through effective risk management, loss prevention, and crisis response.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the security team across all locations.
• Develop and implement security strategies and anti-theft measures.
• Oversee technical security systems (CCTV, IDS, EAS).
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services.
• Manage security budgets and contracts.
• Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and anti-terror regulations.
• Train staff on security protocols and crisis response.

Requirements:

• Experience in law enforcement (preferably retired).
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Intermediate English; fluent in Russian and Kazakh.
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.
