Job responsibilities
- Full control over local accounting (statutory & IFRS mapping).
- Month-end closings, reconciliations, fixed assets, capitalizations.
- Tax filings along with outsource company and compliance.
- Controls over posting accuracy and documentation.
- Oversees and reviews accountants’ work.
- Invoices support of intercompany ICP transactions.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years accounting & TAX experience.
- Knowledge of IFRS and Tax Code of Republic of Kazakhstan (practical knowledge).
- High proficiency in spoken and written Russian; English – Intermediate and above.
- Required technical skills: PC literate.
- Experience in filing and submitting TAX declarations: VAT (300); Personal Income Tax and Social Tax (200); corporate income tax (CIT) withheld at the source of payment from non-resident income (101.04); declaration of payment for emissions into the environment (870); strong experience of 1C invoicing activities, Tax cabinet and Excel, e-invoice portal.
