Senior Consultant – EY-Parthenon (Strategy and Transactions)

Position Overview: As a Senior Consultant in EY-Parthenon (Strategy and Transactions), you will be responsible for leading financial analysis, valuation and structuring for major infrastructure projects. You will work closely with clients to develop financing strategies, assess project viability and valuation analysis, as well as support the execution of transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, a deep understanding of project finance principles and valuation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial modeling and analysis for infrastructure projects, including cash flow forecasting, risk assessment, and sensitivity analysis.
• Lead/support business valuation of assets based on income and/or market approach.
• Develop and present financing strategies and recommendations to clients, including debt and equity structuring.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the infrastructure sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, technical, and operational experts, to ensure comprehensive project evaluations.
• Manage client relationships, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and train junior team members, fostering their professional development and enhancing team capabilities.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience in project finance consulting, valuation. Experience in quasi-state sector is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with financial software is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of infrastructure markets and financing structures is highly desirable.
