Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.
SPINE is made with Unreal Engine 5 and centered around cinematic gun-fu shootouts. It's a third-person beat'em'up with a full set of PC gaming features, including a deep storyline, a unique setting, cutscenes, intriguing enemies, memorable bosses, character progression, and, most importantly, breathtaking battles with a wide array of firearms.
This project represents a new ambitious challenge for the company as it marks our first game for both PC and consoles.
Responsibilities:

Work on the game logic as part of the technical design team

Actively participate in the development and improvement of the game's combat system, integrate and fine-tune combat animations, player abilities, opponent behavior, etc

Collaborate with the team's game designers to fine-tune and polish the gameplay experience, including opponent and boss behavior, animation timing, attacks, and more

Prototype new game features

Work with UE5 systems related to gameplay logic and animation, such as Blueprints and the Gameplay Ability System
Requirements:

Experience working with UE5/UE4, particularly with Blueprints, for 2 years or more

Ability to independently debug and identify issues to be addressed and fixed by project programmers

Strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and accuracy

Portfolio showcasing personal game projects or demos of any complexity
