Engineering Support for Procurement (EPC Water/Wastewater) - Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer ensures all process equipment meets technical and performance requirements before it is purchased.

Tender Document Preparation: Assist the procurement team in drafting the technical scope of work for mechanical works.

Specification Preparation: Develop and finalize detailed Technical Specifications and Datasheets for critical mechanical process equipment (pumps, blowers, screens, filtration systems, etc.) to issue to vendors.

Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE): Lead the technical review of vendor offers, creating detailed comparisons, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Vendor Document Review: Review and approve vendor documentation, including P&IDs, General Arrangement drawings, performance curves, and equipment manuals, to ensure suitability for installation and operation.

FAT/Inspection Support: Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and inspections to verify the quality and performance of manufactured equipment before shipment.
