Responsibilities:
- Source raw materials, components, and services in compliance with technical and quality specifications.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliers.
- Perform cost analysis to identify potential savings and ensure cost-effectiveness in procurement.
- Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Address and resolve supply chain issues, including delays, shortages, and supplier disputes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement activities with project goals.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, or a related field).
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive prices and favorable terms with suppliers.
- Fluency in Chinese is required; additional languages (e.g., English, or others based on the company’s region) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel for supplier visits, audits, and vendor negotiations when required.
