Job Purpose:

Senior Admissions Manager lead and manage the Admissions function, ensuring an efficient, compliant and customer-focused admissions process from application to enrolment, while supporting continuous improvement and strong collaboration across the university.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Admissions Team, ensuring effective operations and high service standards.
  • Oversee the full admissions process from application to enrolment, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Manage clear and timely communication with applicants and new students.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on admissions systems and procedures.
  • Collaborate with academic and professional teams to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Produce reports and analyse admissions data to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate placement-related admissions activities with internal and external partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement of admissions processes and support wider institutional projects.​​​​​​​

Requirements:

  • Experience in Admissions or student recruitment, preferably in higher education.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Good understanding of admissions policies, compliance and relevant legislation.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Ability to analyse data and produce clear reports.

  • Effective collaboration with academic and professional teams.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and high service standards.
