Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
LMS Administration:
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles within the LMS.
• Ensure the accurate and timely upload of learning content, including
courses, quizzes, assessments, and other materials.
• Configure and customize the LMS to meet the organization's needs.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement
solutions to optimize functionality in collaboration with IT staff.
Technical Support:
• Provide technical support to users regarding LMS functionality,
navigation, and troubleshooting.
• Respond to user inquiries, resolve issues, and Help Desk tickets in a timely
manner.
• Collaborate with IT staff to address technical problems and escalate
issues when necessary.
Content Management:
• Collaborate with the Curriculum Design Team to upload and organize
learning materials.
• Collaborate with internal business partners on dashboard content
management.
• Ensure that content is inventoried, categorized, and searchable within
the LMS.
Training and Documentation:
• Develop training materials and resources to educate users on LMS
functionality and best practices.
• Conduct training sessions for administrators, instructors, and learners as
needed.
• Create and maintain documentation, including user guides and tutorials,
to support LMS users.
• Participate in quarterly in-service meetings, training sessions, and other
organizational functions.
Create and provide documentation for regulators,
• Integrate the LMS with other systems and platforms as required.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal business partners to
implement integrations and ensure data integrity.
• Communicate effectively with business partners to gather requirements,
provide updates, and solicit feedback on LMS enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including curriculum designers,
IT staff, and subject matter experts, to support the integration of
technology into learning initiatives.
Survey Administration:
• Collaborate with business partners to create, maintain, and implement
organizational surveys.
• Schedule survey emails to promote high response rates.
• Provide survey response data to business partners.
Student Success Center & Faculty Success Center Content Management:
• Collaborate with internal business partners to update, upload, and
maintain website content.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
• English level C1-C2 (Necessarily!).
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in learning management systems
(e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas) and related technologies.
• Familiarity with instructional design principles and e-learning best
practices.
• Experience with system integrations and API configurations is desirable.
• Certification in learning management systems administration (e.g.,
Moodle Certified Administrator) is a plus.
Working conditions:
• Work-at-home position.
• Work schedule 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm (Chicago time).
