Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Atlassian & Business Solutions Engineer who will play a core role in delivering high-impact solutions — from enterprise-wide Jira and Confluence deployments to custom automation, workflow design, and platform governance. You will partner with clients to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, efficient digital processes on the Atlassian platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and optimisation of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, etc.) for business use-cases.

• Build and customise modular solutions following Architecture4Business methodology and best practices. Business Architecture & Atlassian

• Analyse client processes and map them to Atlassian workflows, automation, and reporting dashboards.

• Configure apps and integrations (e.g., Insight/Asset Management, automation tools, reporting plugins).

• Script and automate complex workflows to eliminate manual work and improve efficiency.

• Provide technical leadership during consulting engagements and workshops.

• Create documentation, training materials, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for client teams.

• Support clients post-deployment with maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Atlassian administration and engineering experience.

• Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and related ecosystem tools.

• Experience with workflow automation, scripting, REST APIs, and custom app configurations.

• Ability to translate business processes into technical solutions and scalable workflows.

• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish, German, Russian) are a plus.

• Comfortable working with remote, international teams and clients.

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks, business architecture, or process modelling is a strong advantage.
