Training and Retail Manager (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan but based in Kazakhstan)

Role Overview

The Retail & Education Manager is responsible for driving sell-out performance across export markets (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan but based in Kazakhstan) by ensuring selling standards and services, teams' effective coaching, and excellent execution of visual merchandising. The role combines hands-on training delivery, management of field teams, and collaboration with local brand teams to secure outstanding client experience and strong business results.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Coaching

- Brand Beauty Advisors: Deliver in-depth trainings covering product knowledge, service excellence, and advanced sales techniques. Ensure team performance in skills evaluation assessments.

- Retail BA: Provide trainings on new products, essential skills, and best practices. Offer guidance and practical tools for local training teams to implement.

- Local Supervisors: Design and deliver trainings tailored to their needs, ranging from product-focused sessions for retail teams to coaching sessions for established personnel. Manage their development and support them in effectively training consultants in the field.

- Monitor training effectiveness at all levels and follow up on individual and team development.

Sell-Out & Team Management

- Drive sell-out initiatives through close collaboration with local teams (in-store events, beauty cabins, master classes)

- Recruit, onboard, and develop team members and supervisors to secure strong performance.

- Set clear objectives, follow up on results, and ensure sales KPIs achievement.

- Encourages high performance by establishing focus targets, conducting motivation programs, fostering individual growth, and acknowledging accomplishments.

Visual Merchandising

- Oversee adaptation and execution of brand visual merchandising guidelines in export markets.
- Forecast, plan, and coordinate POS materials in line with launches and activations.
- Supervise local teams in ensuring excellent implementation and maintenance of merchandising standards.
- Supervise execution of local events and client activations.

Client Engagement & CRM

- Organize and lead VIP client events, personalized services, and special activations in line with brand guidelines.
- Supervise CRM usage and follow-up by Beauty Advisors to strengthen client loyalty.
- Act as brand ambassador, delivering exceptional luxury service.

Operations & Budget

- Manage budgets related to training, uniforms, travel, and events.
- Provide regular reporting.

Key KPIs

- Excellence in visual merchandising execution across markets.
- Sell-out growth and achievement of Beauty Advisors’ sales objectives.
- Certification completion rates and training effectiveness.
- Successful execution of VIP events and client engagement activities.
- Strong performance of local teams and alignment with brand standards.

- Strong understanding of luxury standards, including service excellence and event execution.

Profile Requirements

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury beauty, retail, or premium FMCG.

- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

- Ability to learn and quickly understand brand products across categories (fragrance, makeup, skincare, etc.); practical expertise is a plus

- Proven experience in training design and delivery at multiple levels.

- Knowledge of visual merchandising and retail operations.

- Experience managing teams across multiple markets

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and inspire.

- Fluent English & Russian

- Flexibility to travel across assigned markets (25% of working time)

- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively across multiple markets and projects.”

- Proficient in Excel and other business applications to analyze data, track performance, and generate reports.
