Strategic purpose of the position:
The Learning & Development Manager plays a strategic and operational role in building the company’s organizational capability, supporting business transformation, and ensuring a strong, future-ready workforce. In addition to overseeing all training and development activities, this role leads the recruitment team and is responsible for developing an integrated talent strategy that combines capability building, strategic hiring, and succession management within a beverage manufacturing environment.
Key resposibilities:

Strategic Support of Business Transformation
- Partner with senior leadership to translate the company’s transformation agenda into a clear, long-term talent and capability strategy.
- Align hiring, development, and succession interventions to organizational changes, digitalization, automation, and evolving operational requirements.
- Support cultural transformation to encourage continuous improvement, learning mindset, and workforce agility.

Critical Roles & Capability Development
- Identify and continuously update a list of business-critical roles across production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, engineering, and commercial units.
- Evaluate current and future capability gaps for these roles and define development priorities.
- Build robust learning pathways that strengthen technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and digital competencies.

Succession Management & Talent Pipeline
- Oversee succession planning processes across functions to reduce talent risks and strengthen internal mobility.
- Develop individual development plans for high-potential employees and ensure they receive exposure, coaching, and targeted learning opportunities.
- Monitor succession readiness, critical vacancies, and internal bench strength; collaborate with HR leadership on mitigation plans.

Recruitment Leadership & Workforce Planning
- Lead a team of recruiters responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process across all departments, including plant operations, quality, engineering, sales, and support functions.
- Ensure the hiring strategy aligns with business needs, talent pipeline priorities, and transformation goals.
- Introduce best practices in sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, and employer branding to attract top talent in the FMCG/manufacturing sector.
- Partner with line managers to forecast workforce needs, plan staffing for peak production periods, and manage hiring for critical roles.
- Develop and implement an Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and recruitment marketing initiatives to enhance the company’s attractiveness in competitive labor markets.
- Track recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, quality of hire, turnover, talent source effectiveness) and continuously optimize the hiring process.

Training & Development Program Management
- Design and deliver a comprehensive suite of learning programs (technical, compliance, leadership, soft skills).
- Ensure training materials fully comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards in beverage production.
- Modernize learning methodologies through digital platforms, blended learning, microlearning, and on-the-job coaching.

Performance & Capability Measurement
- Build measurable KPIs to evaluate the impact of learning and talent strategies on productivity, quality, safety, and employee retention.
- Use training data, recruitment analytics, and performance outcomes to drive strategic P&C decisions.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Enablement
- Work closely with production, quality, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, sales, and P&C PBs to align talent and capability initiatives with operational priorities.
- Coach managers on developing their teams, participating effectively in recruitment, and leading change initiatives.
- Manage external training providers, recruitment agencies, and assessment vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Education, or related field.
- Experience in both L&D and recruitment within manufacturing or FMCG environments is strongly preferred.
- Experience in developing a corporate university
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a multifunctional P&C team.
- Expertise in competency modeling, capability development, recruitment strategies, and succession planning.
- High analytical capability, strong stakeholder management, and ability to translate business needs into actionable talent strategies.
- Understanding of safety, quality, regulatory, and operational standards in beverage production is an advantage.
