Middle+/Senior Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer

Nauchsoft is an IT consulting and software development company with 36 years of experience and a team of 770+ professionals and continuing to grow.

We are hiring Middle+ and Senior Infrastructure / DevOps Engineers to join an advanced technology research environment under a leading innovation institute in Abu Dhabi.

The project is currently in active development (PoC stage), with MVP targeted for late 2026.

The team works on security-focused infrastructure and cloud-native systems with strong emphasis on reliability, scalability, and automation.

The engagement is structured as:

• Year 1 – remote collaboration

• From Year 2 – relocation to Abu Dhabi (onsite engagement)

Candidates must be open to relocation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS (GCP and Azure when required).

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Deploy, configure, and operate Kubernetes clusters.

• Package and manage applications using Helm charts.

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines.

• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.

• Contribute to secure cloud architecture and best practices.

Must-Have Requirements to Succeed:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience for a Middle position and 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Infrastructure roles for a Senior position.

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services (+GCP and/or Azure, if possible).

• Basic to intermediate experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Microsoft Azure.

• Strong Terraform experience (infrastructure automation).

• Hands-on Kubernetes experience (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting).

• Experience using Helm for application packaging.

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tooling.

• Basic knowledge of networking and cloud security concepts.

• English level B1+ or higher.

• Comfortable building cloud infrastructure from scratch.

• Strong understanding of DevOps automation.

• Ability to operate in Agile environments.

• Openness to long-term relocation to Abu Dhabi.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).

• Experience with container security best practices.

• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).

• Experience with Git-based workflows.

• Multi-cloud production experience.

• Experience with Rancher, ArgoCD, Ansible, OpenShift.
