Deputy Chief Accountant

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To ensure accurate, compliant financial accounting and reporting, while supporting and deputizing for the Chief Accountant in managing day-to-day accounting operations.

Main responsibilities & expected results:

• To ensure that all recorded transactions are correct and accurate – bank, sales, costs, goods, accruals, intercompany
• Closing accounting books on a monthly basis
• Managing group of accountants (4-6 people)

The position KPI’s:

• Accounting books’ correctness are confirmed monthly with a check list
• Monthly closing is in time and without errors
• Team goals are achieved within agreed timeline

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of Chief accountant / Deputy Chief accountant
• Team management experience
• Motivation for growth and development in accounting
• SAP experience is a plus
• Knowledge of IFRS is a plus
• English level – Upper-Intermediate and higher
