For a game development studio, we are looking for an HR Business Partner who will become a key figure for the office in Limassol and help build a strong, sustainable, and mature HR function closely aligned with the business.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on: working closely with teams, influencing decisions, building processes, and not shying away from difficult conversations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Acting as a strategic partner to team leads and C-level executives
  • Developing and implementing HR strategy aligned with business and product needs
  • Supporting workforce planning and scaling teams for new projects
  • Advising managers on hiring, onboarding, development, and retention
  • Participating in final-stage interviews for key roles
  • Building transparent grading systems, career tracks, and motivation frameworks
  • Designing and implementing Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
  • Driving employee engagement and feedback processes
  • Acting as a mediator in complex situations: resolving conflicts and supporting challenging cases (including terminations)
  • Developing and strengthening company culture (initiatives, gamification, internal activities)
  • Contributing to the evolution of HR processes and implementing modern tools, including AI
  • Supporting employees during relocation
  • Overseeing HR operations and documentation

Who we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of experience as an HR BP / HR Lead / HR Generalist in gamedev or IT
  • Proven experience partnering closely with business leaders and influencing decisions
  • Experience building or transforming HR processes
  • Understanding of product team structures (engineering, art, game design)
  • Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Ability to handle complex situations and conflicts
  • English level B2 or higher

Nice to have

  • Experience in gamedev (understanding roles and development processes)
  • Hands-on experience with grading systems, performance management, and мотивационные frameworks
  • Experience with employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Familiarity with AI tools in HR
  • Experience scaling teams
