Senior Accountant || International Consulting Company (Almaty)

We are an international consulting company (audit, tax, advisory) looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Almaty.

This role is ideal for professionals who want to go beyond routine accounting and work on diverse client projects, cross-border transactions, and complex tax cases.

📍 Location & Conditions:

• Almaty (office-based, Dostyk avenue).
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00.
• Official employment.
• Probation period: 3 months.
• Annual salary review.

📊 Key Responsibilities:

• Full accounting and tax bookkeeping for client companies.
• Payroll processing (including non-residents).
• Foreign trade accounting (import/export, EAEU).
• VAT accounting, including 0% rate confirmation.
• Banking and foreign currency transactions.
• Preparation of financial, tax, and statistical reports.
• Month-end closing within strict deadlines.
• Client communication and advisory support.

✅ Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan tax legislation.
• Proficiency in 1C (mandatory).
• English: Upper-Intermediate / Advanced (B2–C1).
• Experience in consulting / outsourcing or Big4 — a strong advantage.
• Professional certifications (CAP/CIPA, DipIFR) — a plus.
