Senior Railway Transport Specialist (CIS & Central Asia)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize railway transportation across CIS countries, with a focus on South Caucasus and Central Asia corridors.
• Coordinate shipments with national and regional railway operators in Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and neighboring countries.
• Plan and control routes, transit times, and corridor capacity.
• Liaise with railway administrations, logistics partners, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with regional railway regulations, tariffs, technical and operational standards.
• Analyze tariffs and operating conditions to optimize costs and improve transportation efficiency.
• Monitor transportation performance and promptly resolve operational issues and deviations.
• Prepare reports and develop proposals aimed at improving and expanding railway routes.

Requirements:

• Higher education.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in railway or multimodal logistics within the CIS region.
• Fluent English, Russian, and Georgian.
• Strong knowledge of CIS railway infrastructure and key regional ports and terminals.
• Experience in multimodal transshipment operations (rail, sea, road).
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in complex, multi‑country operating environments.
