Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a related field
  • Teaching experience at High School or University
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent preferred)
  • Experience teaching IBDP Physics or a strong willingness to be trained in the IB framework
  • Strong command of English (instruction is delivered in English)
  • Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment
  • Organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with IB Diploma Programme Physics requirements
  • Prepare students for internal and external IB assessments, including practical work and the Internal Assessment (IA)
  • Design and implement inquiry-based and concept-driven instruction
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment standardization, and departmental collaboration
  • Support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific communication skills
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional learning activities
