Set up financial model for newly incorporated company.

Ensure timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

Oversee compliance with Kazakhstan tax laws (VAT, corporate tax) and financial regulations.

Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and statutory reporting.

Oversee POS system reconciliation, sales reporting, and margin analysis.

Manage store financial performance, including revenue recognition and expense tracking.

Evaluate promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs from a financial perspective.

Develop and enforce internal controls to prevent fraud and financial discrepancies.

Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Ensure secure handling of retail transactions and payment processing.

Collaborate with senior management on business expansion plans and financial strategies.

Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and suppliers for financing and payment terms.

Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring skill development and performance optimization.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA/ACCA preferred).

Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the retail industry.

Strong knowledge of IFRS, Kazakhstan tax regulations, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in ERP systems (Xero, Retail Pro, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.

Must be able to communicate well in English and/or Chinese.
