Head of Food Processing Operations

We are looking for a Head of Food Processing Operations to lead all operational aspects of our slaughterhouse and meat processing units. Reporting directly to the COO, you will own the full cycle — from the investment phase (technology selection, commissioning, regulatory approvals) through production start-up and steady-state operations. You will manage production, logistics, and compliance while coordinating closely with parallel departments such as Broiler Production and QMS.

• Develop and implement internal regulations, instructions, and infrastructure requirements for food processing.
• Manage production start-ups and ensure operational readiness and compliance with standards.
• Help obtain and manage all permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals.
• Oversee procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution of raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with wastewater treatment, hazardous waste management, and other environmental requirements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with forecasts, analyses, and recommendations.
• Liaise with local authorities, regulators, and supervisory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance and HSE systems during and after project implementation.
• Monitor departmental costs and ensure budget usage in line with the company's business plan.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in food engineering, Meat Processing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, IFS) are a strong advantage.
• Minimum 15 years in food processing, with at least 10 years in a senior management role in slaughterhouse and/or meat processing operations.
• Proven track record commissioning and starting up large-scale food processing facilities.
• Strong background in regulatory compliance, HSE, and quality assurance in the food industry.
• Solid experience in logistics, procurement, and supply chain management.
• English — fluent (mandatory).
• Uzbek and/or Russian — preferred.
