The position supports daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all hotel information technology systems and user support services within the hotel environment. This role assists in ensuring stable and secure IT operations for both associates and guests, while maintaining compliance with Marriott brand standards and company IT policies.

IT Assistant works closely with the IT leadership team and DOF to provide technical support, maintain hardware and software systems, assist with hotel applications, and support guest-facing technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide first-level IT support for hotel associates and guests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, telephone, and network-related issues
  • Assist with setup, installation, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones, and other IT equipment
  • Support hotel systems including PMS, POS, email systems, and user accounts
  • Monitor and maintain Wi-Fi connectivity and guest internet services
  • Escalate complex technical issues to IT Manager or Director when required
  • Assist with preventive maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Maintain inventory records for IT equipment and accessories
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott IT policies, security standards, and procedures
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for associates including account creation and access management
  • Assist during audits, IT projects, system upgrades, and hotel events when required
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and guest information
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by IT leadership
