Teaching Assistant

We would like to recruit a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background in Early Childhood Education (working with children aged 3–4) for our expanding school.

Candidates are expected to possess a commitment to creating and managing a caring, supportive, purposeful, and stimulating learning environment conducive to young children's development. Candidates should also be able to adapt easily to new cultures and environments.

What will you do?

• Work under the guidance of the lead teacher to support teaching and learning activities for early years students (ages 3–4);

• Provide general support to the class teacher in managing and organizing pupils in the classroom, assisting during regular lessons and extracurricular activities;

• Prepare necessary educational and craft materials for daily lessons;

• Assist the teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly, safe, and supportive learning environment;

• Gather, accompany, and supervise students during breakfast, lunch, snack times, and outdoor activities;

• Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance to students based on their developmental needs;

• Engage directly with young children, facilitating communication, offering assistance, and organizing educational games;

• Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop;

• Supervise children during breaks and playground activity sessions;

• Bring a creative and enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom;

• Demonstrate excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents;

• Be an active presence in the school community.

Our Requirements:

• Higher Degree Diploma — Pedagogical education is MANDATORY (preferably in Early Childhood Education or Primary Pedagogy);

• Work experience in a school setting is MANDATORY (at least 1 year of teaching/TA experience with preschool children aged 3–4);

• Experience working in an international school (desirable);

• Ability to work with both native and non-native English speakers;

• Fluency in Kazakh, Russian, and English (written and spoken) — fluency in English is a must;

• Excellent lifelong learning and adaptable mindset;

• Excellent organizational and time management skills;

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

• High sense of responsibility, patience, and flexibility.
