Job responsibilities
The Deputy Consumer Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the company’s marketing efforts. Key duties include:
- Developing marketing strategies. Creating comprehensive marketing plans to grow brand awareness, increase market share, and reach the target audience effectively.
- Managing marketing campaigns. Overseeing communication (consumer and business partner) tool, BTL, digital marketing, and content marketing efforts to ensure campaigns meet business goals..
- Analyzing market trends, target markets, and customer needs to shape marketing initiatives.
- Optimizing marketing budgets. Allocating resources to maximize return on investment and support project profitability.
- Using research, tools and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Collaborating with stakeholders. Coordinating with product development teams and brand managers to align messaging and strategy.
Information and Budget Management
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented communication activities and initiatives by identifying the core set of data required for analysis and decision-making.
- In close collaboration with relevant departments, develop an overview of trade-level activities that align with partner expectations, thereby contributing to the maintenance and further development of strong KT&G trade partnerships and achievement of short-term business objectives.
- Analyze competitor communication initiatives in the trade sector and evaluate KT&G’s performance in comparison. Conduct regular monitoring of relevant functional indicators.
- Manage the marketing department’s budget, efficiently allocating resources across various trade channels to increase KT&G brand sales in the market.
- Ensure that financial resources are used purposefully and in accordance with the approved activity budget.
- Achieve comprehensive analysis and tracking of the effectiveness of deployed trade equipment and materials, providing recommendations for necessary improvements.
Document management
- Maintain complete documentation flow within the department. Develop and implement workflows for handling documents and document-related information using organizational and computing tools (recordkeeping, performance control, operational storage, and reference work).
- Organize documentation and informational indicators, optimizing the flow of documents.
Develop and manage KPIs / Work Process Improvement
- Optimize operation process by setting KPIs and targets;
- Check and monitor the operation based on monthly check list.
- Improve Marketing (Promotion / BTL operation / POSM,Equipment management) work processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in meeting organizational goals.
Manage and motivate the supply department and the staffs
- Review and improve staff’s performance;
- Suggesting alternatives and solving for staff’s work issues
- Giving instructions from the management and managing relevant government offices.
Management (GD and Division Header) orders
- To complete the tasks assigned by the GD and Division Header through the Microsoft task list;
- Any other tasks requested by the company management and HQ.
Professional Knowledge
The following professional knowledge and skills are required for Deputy Consumer Marketing Manager:
- Legislative and other regulatory legal acts governing the economic activities of business entities in the Republic, and all laws / regulations related to the tobacco business
- The marketing director plans the overall marketing strategy (including Resource and allocation skills) and ensures that it is aligned with the company's business objectives.

- Strong organizational abilities and project management skills
- Knowledge of various marketing tools based on analytical thinking.
Additional who possesses an understanding of:
- Product fundamentals and knowledge of KT&G brands on the market; understanding of the sales market and its key players
- Business performance indicators of KT&G brands and competitors in the local market
- Practical application of available tools (for communicating KT&G’s focus brands) and evaluating their effectiveness; application of segmentation strategies for touchpoints with adult smokers, as well as customer segmentation and profiling
- Product supply chains and distribution channels
- Channels and points of contact with adult smokers available in the market; factors influencing sales in each channel; principles of territory coverage; tools for organizing work with trade channels
- Practical application of tools for market analysis, customer needs, and financial and economic performance indicators of their operations (business).
Education
- Higher education (or postgraduate) in a related field
Work experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in managerial positions
