Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, servers, workstations, network equipment, and corporate systems.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Monitor the performance, availability, and reliability of servers, networks, and IT services.
- Provide technical support to employees and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, permissions, and authentication systems.
- Configure and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core network services.
- Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and other network infrastructure.
- Install and configure computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Manage software installation, updates, patches, and system upgrades.
- Perform regular system backups and monitor backup processes to ensure data availability and recovery.
- Monitor IT security, identify potential vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate security measures.
- Maintain antivirus/endpoint protection and support information security requirements.
- Monitor system logs and investigate technical incidents and service interruptions.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, asset records, and technical procedures.
- Manage IT assets and maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software.
- Coordinate with external IT service providers, vendors, and telecommunications providers when required.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of new IT systems and infrastructure.
- Ensure business continuity and minimize downtime of critical IT systems.
- Provide technical support during system upgrades, office moves, and IT infrastructure projects.
- Prepare regular reports on IT incidents, infrastructure status, and completed activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows operating systems.
- Working knowledge of Linux administration.
- Practical experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is an advantage.
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
- Good understanding of IT security principles, endpoint protection, and access management.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud services is an advantage.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to IT incidents.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively support employees across different departments.
