We’re looking for a Direct Buyer in Astana to secure supplies for the largest electrical locomotive plant in Central Asia. This is high‑stakes procurement: building connections between regions, not just signing contracts. You’ll work alongside people who show up with ownership, passion, and dedication — because they know what’s at stake: the journey home.

Your role, your impact

• Ensuring all requirements are competitively sourced on time.
• Meeting savings targets within scope.
• Maintaining accurate 'base data'.
• Leading Business Awards process.
• Managing suppliers' relations.

You’ll work with sharp, committed teams across engineering, supply chain, and design — solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility.

What you bring

• Engineering degree (mechanical or electrical)
• Fluent English
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Technical acumen (reading and understanding blueprints, etc.)
• Engineering background
• Analytical thinking

• Production needs coverage and budget savings
• Relevance of technical recommendations.
• Demonstrated leadership behavior and responsibility
