Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of OSP projects, including fiber optic cable, conduit and aerial line works, ensuring completion on time, within scope and to the required quality standards.

  • Develop and implement construction plans, monitor progress and resolve schedule risks, quality concerns and major on-site issues.

  • Manage subcontractors, verify the qualifications and certifications of key site personnel, coordinate construction resources and lead regular progress meetings.

  • Maintain safe and orderly construction sites, ensuring compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements, safe working procedures and protective measures.

  • Oversee quality inspections, provisional and final acceptance, and the handover of project documentation in accordance with contractual requirements and quality standards.

Requirements

  • At least 1.5 years of experience in telecom OSP engineering or telecom project delivery.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, technical specifications and industry standards for fiber optic cable installation, conduit works and aerial lines.

  • Solid understanding of GPON and related optical access technologies, FTTH network architecture and construction processes, with hands-on experience delivering optical access network projects.

  • Proven ability to manage project schedules, quality, costs and risks, supported by proficiency in project management methods and tools.

  • Experience managing subcontractors and organizing on-site construction activities, with knowledge of construction site EHS requirements.

  • English proficiency sufficient for effective communication with project teams and customers. Russian or Uzbek language skills are an advantage.

  • Familiarity with OSP construction regulations in Uzbekistan, including construction permits and wayleave/right-of-way procedures.

  • PMP or an equivalent project management certification is an advantage.

  • Willingness to work at project sites and undertake short-term business trips.

  • Strong problem-solving and cross-cultural collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

  • Work schedule: 5 days a week, 09:00–18:00, with 2 days off.
