UGO is looking for a University Admissions & Scholarship Mentor to help students prepare competitive applications to universities abroad. You will guide students from their initial assessment and individual roadmap through university selection, scholarship applications, and admissions decisions.
Responsibilities:

Assess each student’s academic background, interests, achievements, goals, and financial circumstances.

Develop and update an individual admissions roadmap with clear tasks, priorities, and deadlines.

Research universities and programmes, creating balanced university lists that match the student’s profile, intended major, budget, and funding needs.

Identify suitable scholarships, grants, and financial aid opportunities. Explain eligibility, selection criteria, funding coverage, required documents, and application deadlines.

Help students strengthen their academic and extracurricular profiles through relevant projects, research, volunteering, leadership, competitions, and other activities.

Guide students in developing and improving their own personal statements, application essays, CVs, and supporting materials.

Support application preparation and submission, conduct practice interviews, and follow up on university requests and decisions.

Hold regular student meetings, monitor progress, and communicate clearly with students, parents, and the UGO team.

Keep student records, meeting notes, documents, and deadlines updated in UGO’s approved systems.

Verify admissions and scholarship information using current official sources and flag risks promptly.

Previous hands-on experience with international university admissions. You should be able to explain real applications you have worked on and your contribution.

Practical knowledge of scholarships and financial aid, including how to identify suitable opportunities and prepare competitive applications.

English sufficient to research university requirements, communicate professionally, and review application documents and essays.

Russian and Uzbek sufficient to advise students and communicate confidently with parents.

Strong research, writing, editing, organisation, and time-management skills.

Ability to support several students while maintaining individual attention and meeting deadlines.

Confidence using shared documents, online meeting platforms, and student-management or CRM systems.

Respect for student confidentiality, academic integrity, and professional boundaries.

Ongoing cooperation with UGO, supporting students throughout their admissions journey.

Commission starts at 25% of the agreed UGO service fee, with the opportunity to increase to 32% depending on skills and student assignments.

Commission is paid in stages: 60% across four initial monthly installments and the remaining 40% upon a qualifying unconditional admission offer, under the mentor agreement.

Monthly earnings vary according to student assignments, package values, applicable commission rates, and payment milestones. There is no guaranteed fixed salary.

Opportunity to grow toward supporting 20–30 students, depending on your capacity and quality of work.
