Central Asian University (CAU) — one of the fastest growing private universities in Uzbekistan — is looking for an organized, responsible, and student-oriented Academic Affairs Specialist to join our Academic Affairs Department. The role combines student support with academic administration, records, registration, and university processes.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to students regarding enrollment, module registration, academic and regulations.
• Manage student enrollment, registration and returns to study using the EduPlus Student Information System.
• Maintain accurate student academic records and confidential documentation.
• Manage the departmental inbox and coordinate student requests with relevant departments.
• Prepare official academic documents, Rector’s orders, and related correspondence.
• Support Progression and Award Boards by compiling and verifying student academic information.
• Assist with progression, graduation checks and academic reports.
• Coordinate with Student Services and other university departments to resolve student and academic record queries.
Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, International Relations, Law, or a related field.
• Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
Work experience:
• Previous experience in a university, school, educational center, or other academic institution is preferred.
• Experience in student services or academic administration is an advantage.
Desirable Criteria:
• Experience working with student information or academic management systems.
• Familiarity with academic administration, student records, or university procedures.
• Experience preparing official documents, reports, or administrative correspondence.
• Previous experience working directly with students or handling student inquiries.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new university systems.
Working Conditions:
• Work schedule: 5/2, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
