Senior QA Engineer

Nauchsoft is an international IT consulting and software development company. We have been in the IT business for 37 years and continue growing.

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join a project developing a new cloud-based ERP platform. The product covers complex business processes across sales, order management, inventory, purchasing, finance, and logistics, with multiple integrations and dependencies between functional areas. The role requires a strong QA engineer who can independently work with complex business logic, identify risks and coverage gaps, and combine traditional QA practices with modern AI-assisted and agentic testing approaches. A key focus of the position is the practical use of Claude Code and AI agents in daily QA activities, as well as gradual expansion of automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, API, database, and end-to-end testing of the ERP platform.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and identify risks, dependencies, and potential coverage gaps.
• Design and maintain test scenarios for complex cross-functional business processes.
• Ensure appropriate coverage of critical ERP workflows and integrations.
• Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and investigate issues.
• Independently plan and organize testing activities within assigned areas.
• Participate in defining and improving practical testing approaches, tools, and QA practices.
• Actively use Claude Code in daily QA work for analysis, investigation, test design, and technical tasks.
• Explore and implement AI agents for activities such as requirements analysis, test scenario generation, defect investigation, and repetitive QA tasks.
• Evaluate AI-generated results critically and validate their correctness before applying them.
• Gradually introduce automated checks for suitable scenarios.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using appropriate tools and technologies.
• Perform API validation and verify data consistency at the database level.
• Investigate defects across application, API, integration, and data layers.
• Collaborate directly with the development team and customer stakeholders.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of professional experience in Software Testing / QA.
• Senior or strong Middle+ level with the ability to work independently on technically and functionally complex areas.
• Experience testing ERP systems or comparable enterprise applications with complex business processes and integrations.
• Strong understanding of functional and integration testing.
• Strong practical experience with API testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL and practical experience validating data directly in databases.
• Experience analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into effective test scenarios.
• Ability to identify dependencies and risks across interconnected business processes.
• Experience working on projects where QA processes and testing approaches continue to evolve together with the product.
• Practical experience using Claude Code or similar AI-assisted engineering tools in QA activities.
• Understanding of AI agents and their potential application to software testing.
• Strong interest in developing and applying agentic QA practices.
• Technical foundation for test automation using JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, Playwright, or similar technologies.
• Ability to independently organize work, prioritize testing activities, and make day-to-day QA decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive communication and ability to work directly with developers and customer stakeholders.
• English level B2+ for regular communication.

• Practical experience creating or configuring AI agents for QA activities.
• Experience using Claude Code to generate, maintain, or troubleshoot automated tests.
• Experience testing financial, inventory, purchasing, logistics, or order-management workflows.
• Experience with complex business workflows spanning multiple modules and integrations.
• Experience with Playwright.
• Experience implementing automated checks in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working as the only or primary QA engineer within a particular product area or team.
• Experience testing newly developed enterprise products.
